About on The Meadow 2025
"On The Meadow Festival is a grassroots festival taking place over one day where we celebrate all great up-and-coming artists. On The Meadow is a day that seeks to celebrate indie bands, big and small, and champion them in Signature Brewery's Blackhorse Road location, which we take over for the day with two incredible stages full of music!" “Join us at London’s Signature Brew Blackhorse Road on July 19th for another day of unforgettable new music!” “On The Meadow is a vibrant indie festival in London, celebrating the UK music scene and supporting independent artists with live performances, art, and a strong creative community.”
LARKINS return to join an already packed lineup as On the Meadow reveals its 2025 headliner. Being held at The Signature Brewery onJuly 19th, the already jam-packed lineup features some of London's leading live acts, such as Trailblazers Emergency Break, The Kairos, Saint Clair, Artaca, Stereo Cupid and many more.
Leo Gerchen, the festival founder, collaborated with GoToBeat, one of London's top music and live event promoters, who both set out to showcase some of London's best up-and-coming music. With loads of day festivals and famous weekend festivals having to unfortunately not go ahead as planned in 2025 due to rising costs, Leo set out to make a day "that's not only affordable, but honours all the artists playing and how valuable their music is to us and the general public.".
With hosts Future Hits Radio, many up-and-coming artists are a staple name in first getting their music heard live on air.
The decision to hold 2024's event at Signature Brewery was also in vain of supporting up-and-coming music, as Signature Brewery's beer is famous for supporting loads of artists such as The Libertines, Alt-J, Sports Team, and many more.
Join LARKINS and THE KAIROS and many more names for an action-packed day of live music and surprises at the On the Meadow Festival on August 16th.
HEADLINER: LARKINS
We are pleased to be a part of LARKINS huge comeback shows, more specifically their return to London in almost a year (headline). One of the most exciting bands to emerge from Manchester in decades. Alt-pop four-piece and streaming force LARKINS continue to wow fans across the UK with their stadium-ready showmanship and infectious, anthemic choruses. Their wall-to-wall shows, with fans singing every word, showcase the stratospheric rise of a band on the cusp of a rocketing global profile; with a hit-making flare ready-made for the indie dance floor and international airwaves.
LARKINS are leading the raw, youthful wave of small town bands sweeping out of British suburbia. Josh Noble and Dom Want met at Longendale High school in Glossop (population, 33,000; notable fellow survivors, Vivienne Westwood) later bolstering their sound with bassist Henry Beach and drummer Joe Gaskell. Following the release of their debut album “JCOY” in Oct 2021, Larkins have amassed over 20m streams globally and sold over 15,000 tickets, not including festival performances at Y Not, Hit the North, Neighbourhood, Dot to Dot and Live at Leeds.
THE KAIROS
Fresh off touring with The Reytons; we are pleased to have the Kairos join On The Meadows 2025 Lineup. ‘Kairos (Hellenistic Greek: καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right, critical, or opportune moment.’ Back in 2017, tucked away in the North West of the country, 4 lads from the different regions of Liverpool decided what they were going to do to fill their time. So following in the footsteps of giants: Tom, Sam, Owen and Lewis started a band.
In 2023, the band release their EP "Better Late than Never", with lead singles "Thick Of It" & "Trip Through The Night", receiving airtime on national radio (BBC Radio 1, Radio X). One by one, shows across the UK started selling out - and more and more fans of guitar music started to hear of The Kairos. The reaction and success of "Better Late Than Never" has led the band to historic slots at Isle of Wight Festival, football stadiums with James, arenas with Red Rum Club, their very own UK headline tour and a monster homecoming headline show at the Liverpool O2 Academy.
EMERGENCY BREAK
Also pleased to have on our 2025 Lineup fresh faces London noise makers Emergency Break who will return to the 2025 Lineup. With their wild live performances and distinctive rock sound, Emergency Break have taken the London music scene by storm.
Forming on a whim in 2023. Emergency Break rose to the top quickly, selling out “The Camden Assembly” within six months of being a band. Regular live performances, including sell out shows at the O2 Academy Islington, Old Blue Last, Dublin Castle and The Grace have propelled the band to new audiences.
Eׂmergency Break have continuously set themselves apart. Establishing their identity through
internally recorded singles and chaotic live performances, the band are known for their raucous live shows.
The band take full ownership of the stage with their charisma and onstage antics, making every performance an electrifying experience. With the confidence and creativity to extend their live musical experience to a wider audience, the band continue to grow both themselves and their wider community.
The band show no signs of stopping and are certainly one to keep your eyes on.
